Leading the shift towards a greener future is challenging, and we’re certain that by offering products that challenge the norm, inspire creativity, and promote environmental consciousness through upcycling, we can help drive the positive change we want to see in the world.
Born from frustration, built with love
Following the news, it’s been increasingly distressing to see how we treat our planet. From forever chemicals in our environments to micro plastics in our ocean finding its way into our bodies, it’s overwhelming to see how poorly we care for our planet and each other.
To do our small part in ensuring items remain in our hands, we focus on reimagining how discarded items can have a new purpose.
Our materials are rescued from unlikely sources and the likely end of the line of its “lifecycle”.
Meet Our Founder
Passionate about design, driven by living sustainably
Kristen has been a long time advocate for living a life in greater balance with our environment. As early as elementary school, she participated and even led recycling initiatives and environmental cleanup days. She continues that work today through her support of Friends of the LA River and Heal the Bay in her home in Los Angeles.
She has often been complemented on her vibrant and eclectic style, particularly her upcycled creations that have delighted friends and family. Now she has made these treasures available to you.
It’s Kristen’s hope that she can inspire others to think twice about sending an item off to the landfill or purchasing just another piece of clutter that will find its way to goodwill or the bin in six months.
